History

(Long Island, NY) - In April of 2008, Jonathan Wayne put his journalism degree to use and started a publication that he and his friends would want to read and be apart of. Five months later a glossy New York Twist was created, printed and distributed to music stores, lounges and venues across Long Island.

New York Twist is an art, music and creative writing magazine where artists and writers at all points in their careers can submit their work for others to appreciate.

Twist has decided to join the 21st century and has recently made the transition from print to web media. We are now a multimedia online magazine and very excited to be able to reach many more readers, artists and writers alike.

Here at New York Twist, we are dedicated to all those who love the arts. Thanks for in sharing our passion.
